As a Bachelor of Computer Science graduate from the University of Waterloo, Steve is a driven entrepreneur dating back to university when he was the President of ACE (Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship). He has been in the mobile industry for 8 years working for RIM (Research in Motion), the creator of the BlackBerry product line, and as an independent consultant in various software areas and different mobile platforms.

As a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Queen's University, Tai was involved in the Queen's Solar Vehicle Team from 2001-2005 as an Electrical Team manager and driver, and as an advisor in 2007. Tai has also worked on the latest technology in mobile device and robotic automated testing during his time at RIM (Research In Motion). He recently completed additional studies at the University of Waterloo for embedded systems and real-time programming.
